We are holding a silent auction to help with the fund raising effort on Sunday October 1st.
We are looking for donations of items such as gift cards, certificates, art work, crafts, services, or any items that are in good shape that you feel someone might like to buy. Please, no clothing. You can bring the items with you on Sunday; the doors open at 2:30 pm. If you have something that is large, please contact Barbara Armbrecht (email@example.com) to make arrangements. Your donations are tax deductible, and a receipt can be provided if you need one. We also need volunteers to pitch in with serving food and other tasks; any help would be greatly appreciated!
Also, the NCFBS will be giving away an annual membership in a drawing. How do you enter the drawing? By providing an idea as to how the Society can increase the size of our membership. There will be a drawing at the fundraiser including all of those that provided an idea. We currently have 154 members, and we have set the goal of 175 by January 1.
