The Forgotten Music Festival will be held November 2 and 3, 2018 on the beach at the historic El Governor Hotel on the tip of the Forgotten Coast in Mexico Beach, Florida. This first year event features 8 unforgettable singer/songwriters from across the US. Each share one common thread, great music!
Opening the freshman event is Birmingham, Alabama native and a finalist on NBC’s The Voice, Sarah Simmons. American Idol finalist, Casey James from Plano, Texas and International Blues Challenge winner (2009) from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, JP Soars wraps up Friday evening. Starting Saturday, November 3 is Panama City’s Will Thompson followed by Lauren Mitchell. Fellow The Voice alum, Josh Hoyer brings his band, Soul Colossal, down from Nebraska to move the crowd. Two time Blues Music Award nominee and a graduate of the Berklee College of Music, Vanessa Collier will perform as the sun sets. Closing out the premier event from Boise, Idaho is multi-Blues Music winning artist John Nemeth.
Fans staying at the El Governor Hotel will enjoy their own VIP experience of their making from the privacy of their own balcony with a view of the stage and the ocean.
