December is usually a slow time, but there are some cool things happening that I wanted you to be aware of:
Saturday, December 14: Corey Hall @ Cypress & Grove: NCFBS member Corey Hall is playing at Cypress & Grove (1001 NW 4th St, Gainesville, FL ) on Saturday, December 14 from 3-5. Corey’s from Panama City, so he doesn’t get out this way very often, so it’s a fantastic opportunity to see him. And we’d also like to thank Cypress & Grove for booking live Blues!
Friday, December 20: Selwyn Birchwood/ Josh Miller Blues Revue @ Heartwood Soundstage: 2013 International Blues Challenge winner Selwyn Birchwood will be touring his fantastic new album Old School, and will be joined by his friends and ours, the Josh Miller Blues Revue!
Tuesday, December 31: Dr. Jules’ Cool Blues Trio at The Great Outdoors: Dr. Jules Cool Blues plays from 6:30-9 on New Year’s Eve at The Great Outdoors (18587 High Springs Main St, High Springs, FL). This is their first time there, so show the Great Outdoors that they should keep booking live Blues!
