We are happy to present the Reverend Billy C. Wirtz live at the A. Quinn Jones Museum & Cultural Center (1013 NW 7th Ave., Gainesville, FL 32601) on Sunday April 26 from 7-9. The Blues on the Patio Series is brought to you by the North Central Florida Blues Society, the City of Gainesville – Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs (PRCA), and the A. Quinn Jones Museum and Cultural Center.

Ocala native Reverend Billy C. Wirtz is a comic genius, gifted pianist and American musicologist who defies easy classification. “I like to think of myself as the Victor Borge of the Blues,” states Wirtz, but he goes way beyond Borge both in scope of subject matter (from politics to social commentary) and, of course, in taste. Wirtz was mentored by Chicago Blues pianist Sunnyland Slim.  Our 2026 Blues On the Patio Series brings together Blues lovers for the best in live music.
